2012 National Feast of Lanterns

The Nation Feast of Lanterns for 2012 is being hosted by the North East Region. It will be held at Long Newton Grange in Teesside, from 16th to 20th August 2012.
This year the theme is “The Circus”, which will give plenty of scope and colour for the Mardi Gras, Decorated Units and Street Scenes, and there will also be a “Torchlight” Procession and Pennon Parade.

Easter Meet 2012

The Easter Meet this year will be held at Wetherby School, in the heart of Yorkshire, from Thursday 5th April to Tuesday 10th April.
There will be a follow-on meet afterwards at Follifoot (near Harrogate).
Places at this meet need to be booked in advance, and the booking form can be found in the January issue of the Folk Dance and Song Group magazine. |
