The Wessex Area were joint hosts (with South West Area) for the Folk Dance and Song Group Easter Meet this year.
This was held near Duxford in Cambridgeshire, and was very well attended by a total of 624 people (549 adults and 75 under-18s).

Harvest Supper

Our annual Harvest Supper meet is being held in Liss at the Spread Eagle Inn from 8th to 11th October.
The supper itself will take place on the Saturday night in Liss Village Hall, and will feature dancing to a live band as well as the traditional fare of filled jacket potato & salad, followed by apple crumble & custard.
Booking in advance is essential for this meet, so please contact Mark Callow (our Sites Officer) to reserve your place. He will also need to know your choice of jacket potato filling (chilli, cheese or tuna) so we can organise the catering.
